Analysis machines from different producers only provide their own diagnostic software.
Possible optical tests are:
- Solder joint inspection with AOl (optical) and AXI (X-ray)
- AOl / OOE I BVS inspections
- Ultrasonic inspection
Issue
Employees must be familiar with various diagnostic programs. In addition, depending on the license concept, a new license must be purchased for each new diagnostic station.
Concept
The test results are clearly identifiable on a superordinate computer (MES-system). From there, the part which is imported at the diagnostic station is requested and the analysis results are displayed. The employee evaluates the part and sends the result back to the MES. After that, the visual inspection is considered complete.
Result
One software environment for all employees, meaning less training time. This also makes troubleshooting easier, as it is standardized for all diagnostic stations.
